Wouldn't the EU court in Strasbourg strike this law down? Why wasn't that tried with an appeal? 195.70.48.242 12:09, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Why should it? With what argument? (And aren't you actually thinking of European Court of Human Rights?) Even if it would it strike it down it could be that the German Constitutional Court disapproved (and therefore overruled in case of Germany).
