The Mansfield School desegregation incident is a 1956 event in the African-American Civil Rights Movement in the United States.
A United States federal court asked the Mansfield Independent School District to desegregate in 1956. Several White mobs protested outside of the Mansfield High School and prevented desegregation, which would quietly occur in 1965.
