The Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences is an observatory and field station located on Stage Point overlooking Cape Cod Bay in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Founded as the Manomet Bird Observatory, the center began full-time operation in August 1969 as the first permanent observatory on the Atlantic coast of North America. Currently the center conducts original research on various programs such as wildlife conservation, forest conservation, and marine conservation.
