Mannhullet (Manhole - A hole in marine steel structures through which a person can access tanks, boilers etc)
is a student organization at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology at Tyholt, Trondheim,Norway. The members of Mannhullet are all M.Sc.#Norway in Marine Technology, or study to become one. Mannhullet was founded in 1917, and celebrated its 90th anniversary in February, 2007. [edit] MiT - Mannhullets Interne Teater

(Mannhullet's Internal Theater)
MiT's plays are humorous productions, usually staged only once. Plays consist of sketches, video sketches and songs. They are usually set in a Marine Tech context, for instance the sketch "Om berre båtar var laga av kork" - "If only boats where made from cork." MiT is responsible for Mannhullet's biannual event RUKA.

The students contact to marine corporations and businesses.
Bedriftkontakt is the main source of income for Mannhullet,
by arranging company presentations for students, in which the company usually spends one hour presenting itself,
and afterwards buy dinner and beer for the participating students.

(Sailboat Committee) Manages the students' own newly acquired 37 ft. sailboat, Steinbiten III (Seawolf (fish))
The sailboat is a Hanse 371 sailyacht, see manufacturers webpage [1]
During autumn and spring it participates in Trondheim Seilforenings cups, and during summer it usually
cruises the Norwegian south coast crewed by students.

Mannhullet was founded by students at Skipslinjen (Ship Engineering) at NTH in 1917. Since then, there have been continuous action.
