Manji (film)

卍(Manji) is a Japanese film based on the Japanese novel Quicksand by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki in 1928.

The theme is homosexuality between women. It is remade in 1964 and 1983 and 1988 and 2006 in Japan.

One day Sonoko of a married woman having a husband meets young, beautiful Mitsuko. Puzzled Sonoko is charmed by the beauty of Mitsuko, and two people fall into relations between women at the start.
