Mang Ke (pen name Jiang Shiwei), is a recognized Chinese poet born in 1951. He is among those of the "misty poet" generation of the cultural revolution. He co-founded the Chinese magazine Today (Jintian) along with Bei Dao, another recognized misty poet. Mang Ke is also an accomplished painter.
