Man Mountain Moore

'Man Mountain Moore' born Jack Christopher Moore on 5th December 1961 was a proffessional wrestler in TNA, WCW and ECW.

[edit] Early Years

Moore was born in 1961, never meeting his real father as he left 4 months before he was born Moore was raised by his step father James Willis, who died when Moore was 10 years of age. His mother Suffered from mild depression after Wilis passed. Moore was of large stock, standing 6'2.5" and weighing at his heaviest 294lbs. He started wrestling in high school, often gettin by with a size and weight advantage.

Moore was trained by Yasuhiro Kojima who trained many well know wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Lex Luger.

He Debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) Under the Gimmick The Iron Hands. He was not a huge sucess and quickly moved to Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1984, changing his name to Man Mountain Moore. He wrestled with the firm until late '92 when his contract waas not renewed. After this he had four months with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) But was laid off again.

3 months after his dismissal from WCW in 1993 Moore was found dead in a Hotel room in California the cause of death was believed to be a heroin overdse, an addiction which he struggled with for 18 years. He was just 32 years of age.
