The film follows three boys from Belfast, who travel by van with their greyhound Cerberus to a racing competition in Clonmel, County Tipperary - all while avoiding a psychotic "Hookie-bookie" they used to work for, members of the Irish Republican Army, and a band of insane chainsaw wielding Irish Travellers whom they double crossed.
