Description

Manchester Velodrome is the United Kingdom's leading indoor Olympic-standard cycle track and was used to host the track cycling events in the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The track has a reputation for quick times; as of December 24, 2005, twelve current cycling world records were set at the Velodrome, including Chris Boardman's World Hour Record and the 4000 m pursuit record set by the Australian men's team.
