The reason for why I'm filling in my user page is so that my user name doesn't show up in red ink. This had made it look as if the debt collector had put me on his list, which gave me persistent worries about one day hearing a firm and unforgiving knock on my door, or worse, finding a grisly note on my talk page. Also, I sometimes enjoy reading other users' pages. Especially those that allow a glimpse into the personalities of the many contributors and editors, when they let their guard down, talk at great length about their personal life, the joyous or grievous moments they have experienced with other wikipedians, or how to avoid a hiccup while hiding from a rifle-carrying adversary.
However, there'll be nothing like that here. I like to contribute to articles about topics that interest and inspire me, and that I like to learn more about. The topics I gravitate to are somewhat diverse, yet they are tied together by my long-held interests, which are biology, music, and films. Being a compulsive copy editor, I've contributed to a large number of articles, and in doing so, I've occasionally strayed from my main themes. However, there are only very few entries so far to which I've made substantive contributions. But I hope this list will grow.
