Talk:Malleus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] hammer shape?
- The word is Latin, and means 'hammer'.
No argument there.
- The malleus is a hammer-shaped small bone or ossicle of the middle ear
Doesn't look like the shape of a hammer to me. The description is wrong IMO. Does the name confuse shape and function? 59.112.56.214 19:12, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
