We need NPOV here. Phrases like "most prestigious colleges" and "the most remarkable example" etc. dont exactly convey a neutral POV.


the term used is "one of the most prestigious colleges" which should not be contrary to neutral point of view. "the most remarkable example" however may require modification.-Leopart

It can be referred to as "the most remarkable example" because it is the oldest inter-collegiate festival in India and it was started at a time when such a concept was unheard of. 210.214.10.73 17:19, 25 April 2007 (UTC)Rahul


The Malhar is Hindustani Classical Raaga first and then the college festival. Hindustani Music raga is older and bigger than college festival, this article should have a reference to that Raaga. Malhar also is another name of Hindu god Shankara / Shiva.
