Why have the electoral discrepancies been removed? It is worth noting that the last three Malaysian GEs have been marked by fraud. So????

Should the article be started with "General elections were held..." or "Legislative elections were held..."? Most articles on elections use the latter. whkoh [talk][[]] 11:52, Mar 23, 2004 (UTC)

According to general election, general election is used to describe nationwide legislative elections. --Johnleemk 13:31, 23 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Every election article I have edited or seen says either legislative election or presidential election. "General election" is much too vague. Adam 23:53, 23 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Well, have fun moving all the List of Irish general elections! --Jiang

Re: Anwar, the only NPOV thing to say is that he's imprisoned. The real reasons for his imprisonment are another story. Jpatokal 01:54, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Agree, the reasons for his imprisonment has got nothing to do with this article.whkoh [talk][[]] 07:49, Mar 24, 2004 (UTC)

Where is that image from? Are the copyrights OK? Jpatokal 02:01, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Likely copied from a news source and therefore a Wikipedia:Copyright problems candidate. --Jiang 05:41, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Adam, we're still waiting for the source... Jpatokal 20:25, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)

If there is no response on the copyright within 7 days it is being deleted. If you can provide its source please upload it again. - Tεxτurε 21:15, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Uh...I really think that the stuff about which coalition a party belongs to should be in the table. Also, shouldn't the Background come before the results? Currently I find the article to be...topsy-turvy. A cursory mention of the winner in the leading paragraph should be enough. --Johnleemk 11:58, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)

It is in the table. And the results should come first. That is what people look at election articles to find. Adam 13:58, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Page needs to be updated

I found a lot of "will"s which have already taken place. I'm not very free, so I can't take care of all of them right now. Johnleemk | Talk 16:19, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Credits

On thing I find lacking on Wikipedia is credits on the articles. I wish it were possible to know who wrote the articles so when i use them I can credit them to the rightful authors. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ejrs (talk • contribs) .

There's always the page history. Johnleemk | Talk 09:29, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Election maps

I have located constituency maps for Peninsular Malaysia but I cannot locate maps for Sabah and Sarwak. Does anyone have any suggestions? Adam 05:21, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
