Actually the origin of those words is from Sanskrit not Tamil. Malay language mostly influenced by the old Sanskrit and Arabic, then the modern language mostly influenced by English. This article should be "Malay words of Sanskrit origin" or "Tamil words of Sanskrit origin". izzudin 12:53, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
