Malperia is a monotypic plant genus in the daisy family which is made up of the sole species Malperia tenuis. This plant's common name is brown turbans or brownturbans. It is a rare plant endemic to the Sonoran Desert of the U.S. state of California and the Mexican state of Sonora. This is a small annual with white or pinkish bell-shaped flowers.
