Malagueña Salerosa is a traditional Mexican folk song written by Elpidio Ramírez, Roque Ramírez and Pedro Galindo, which has been covered by many performers.
The song is that of a man telling a woman (from Málaga) how beautiful she is, and how he would love to be her man, but that he understands her rejecting him for being too poor.
- The song was made famous by Miguel Aceves Mejía
- Californian rock band The Tubes sang it on their self-titled 1975 debut album.
- Tex-mex band Chingón recorded it for the soundtrack of the Kill Bill film.
- The song also appeared in (without lyrics) Once Upon a Time in Mexico, played by Antonio Banderas.
