Malachy Tallack is a singer-songwriter, journalist, and magazine editor of mixed English and Irish heritage [1].
Malachy lives on Fair Isle, but is originally from Shetland[2].
He has released two albums of folk-rock music, and most recently has been supporting Runrig on their UK tour. Apart from music, he is the current editor of the magazine Shetland Life, and writes a weekly column for the New Statesman about his experiences of rural life and living on a remote Scottish island.
