Makwarela

Makwarela is one of the very first townships situated near Sibasa in the former Venda area in Limpopo Province, Republic of South Africa. All the influential people within Venda use to reside in the area including top government officials of the then bantustan. Most of the houses situated there are similar to those so called "match box" houses situated in places like Soweto and other townships within South Africa.
