Makoto Tanaka (田中 誠, Tanaka Makoto?, born August 8, 1975 in Shizuoka, Japan) is a Japanese football player, who currently plays for the J-league team Jubilo Iwata.
He was called up for Japan's 2006 World Cup squad, but had to withdraw after sustaining a thigh injury in the run-up to the tournament.
