[edit] Summary
This is a cropped screenshot from "The Making of Silent Running" (a featurette included on the "Silent Running" DVD). I believe this to be fair use since it is of low resolution and serves only to demonstrate an amazing feature of the "Drones". Each drone was operated by a multiple amputee. This image shows the actor inside the drone costume. It should be noted that the actor isn't "standing in a hole" or using any similar trickery. As hard as it may be to believe, his multiple amputations allow him to fit completely inside the suit. The featurette shows the actors getting into and out of their costumes.
[edit] Licensing
This image is a screenshot from a copyrighted film, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by the studio which produced the film, and possibly also by any actors appearing in the screenshot. It is believed that the use of a limited number of web-resolution screenshots
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information. |
