Majibacoa is a municipality in the Las Tunas Province of Cuba. The municipal seat is located in the town of Calixto, immediately east of Victoria de Las Tunas, the provincial capital.

In 2004, the municipality of Majibacoa had a population of 40,264.[2] With a total area of 621 km² (239.8 sq mi),[1] it has a population density of 64.8/km² (167.8/sq mi).
