The Majestic Petra Festival is a newly created international festival of arts and literature taking place in Petra, Kingdom of Jordan. The festival website reports that the programme will focus on British-Arab cultural links and guests will include Michael Portillo, Hanan al-Shaykh, Mariella Frostrup, and Vikram Seth.
