Majboos (Arabic: مجبوس) is an Arabic dish usually seen in the State of Kuwait, Kingdom of Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. It is a preparation of lamb or chicken cooked with rice. Long-grain Basmati rice is used to cook Majboos. In chicken Majboos, a whole chicken is used. Majboos is garnished with Hashu and served hot with Dakkous - homemade tomato sauce.
