Maja Jezercë is the highest point of the Albanian Alps mountain and the entire Dinaric Alps, standing at 2,692 metres (8,832 ft) AMSL. The peak is administratively part of the northern Albanian region of Malësi e Madhe District, close to the border with Montenegro.
Maja Jezercë is known to be the focal point in many old tales of the Malesori people (being more specific of the Kelmendi clan).
