Maison Saint-Gabriel Museum

The Maison Saint-Gabriel Museum located in Montreal, Quebec is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage and artifact of the settlers of New France in the mid 17th century. The museum consists of a small farm, which has been administered by the Sisters of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame for over 300 years.

The Museum artifacts include domestic objects, clothing, furniture, tools and equipment, communication and arts for the era. During the summer months the museum employ artisans who provide live demonstrations of life in the 17th century.

The museum may be viewed in English, French, Spanish, or Japanese.
