The Main Street Cinema is a small movie theater located on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland. The theater plays Disney shorts on six different screens while a recorded musical accompaniment plays. Five of the six shorts are played without sound; these shorts are changed from time to time. The sixth short is always Mickey Mouse's 1928 debut cartoon "Steamboat Willie", which is played with its original sound.

The Main Street Cinema at Walt Disney World has been transformed into a home for Disney's Virtual Online Game: Virtual Magic Kingdom. It is also known as VMK and is a massively multiplayer online game run by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online. At the Main Street Cinema, one may test their Disney (and VMK) knowledge to earn quest cards and other goodies for use in the online game. One may also sign up for the free online game at www.vmk.com. This area of Main Street is also a shop. Beanies and goodies for your Pal Mickey can also be purchased here. VMK Central closed on September 30th, 2007.
