"Main Man" is a U.S. only promo used from American singer/actress Cher's 19th album Cher.

[edit] Song information

Main Man was released as a promo CD in the United States and as a 7 inch single. The vinyl single is one of her rarest vinyl singles to find. In 1988 in order to promote the song, Cher sang Main Man during the MTV Video Music Awards. After consideration from Geffen Records the song was left as a promo.

[edit] Music video

A music video was made and in it Cher is roaming around her then empty mansion which she at the time was selling to comedian, Eddie Murphy. The video also featured clips of Cher while singing the song at the MTV music awards. Finally in the video Cher was accompanied by her boyfriend at the time, Rob Camiletti.
