Maiara Walsh (born February 18, 1988 in Simi Valley, California) is an American actress & singer of Brazilian and American descent.[1][2] She is best known for her role in Cory in the House as Meena Paroom, the daughter of the Ambassador of Bahavia and Cory's best friend. Maiara fluently speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

In 2007, Walsh co-starred in the Disney Channel's Cory in the House, where she played Meena Paro. The show received over 4.1 million viewers making it the most viewed Disney Channel pilot in 2007, She also appeared on the 2007 Disney Channel Games on the blue team. Walsh has appeared in Unfabulous as an extra. She also stars in a 2007 indie film called Lullabye Before I Wake, playing the role of Megan, which was filmed in Thailand in late 2005. [3] The film was released in several small screenings in Thailand, Australia, and in Malibu, California in late 2007 and early 2008. [4]
