[edit] Re: Image:BlackHolesAndRevalationsCover.JPG

Hi. Please add a source to Image:BlackHolesAndRevalationsCover.JPG. Thanks. Mahahahaneapneap 19:38, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Is source a requirement for album covers on English Wikipedia now? I moved it from Commons (definitely misplaced by other user there), but you could delete image if you want. --EugeneZelenko 14:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Muse edits

Thanks for doing the edits to the Muse singles pages. I think I might have missed a fair bit of information out. It's only the basics so far. Xtrememachineuk 22:01, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

No problem :) Muse are my favourite band and I enjoy adding content to their pages. Thanks for creating the new articles. --Mahahahaneapneap 16:44, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bear Wood

Looking at your recent edits, I have to say I can see what you mean when you say Bear Wood is not in Bournemouth; though it could be argued that parts of it are. it is often lumped in with Bournemouth as you cannot approach it directly from the conurbation without passing through Bournemouth. However, the Bear Cross roundabout is in Bournemouth; the border is about half a mile down the Magna Road. I suppose it all depends on how far these rather amorphous areas extend. [edit] No need to make edits just to bypass a redirect

It's no big deal, but Wikipedia discourages edits like this. See Wikipedia:Redirect#Don't fix links to redirects that aren't broken.--Mathew5000 04:25, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Poole Grammar

Do you go to Poole Grammar as you seem to hav made lots of edits to the Poole Grammar wiki page —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexsheppard11 (talkcontribs) 21:04, Aug 21, 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I do. I'm going into year 10 this september... Mahahahaneapneap 23:25, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mass editing

If you notice someone is doing a mass editing (eg on Muse albums), please do no interfere (even if you are trying to help), as it may cause edition conflicts.

[edit] External link removed because it's on spam blacklist

I removed the external link to your Lostpedia user page on your Wikipedia user page because it's on the meta:Spam blacklist. The link stopped me from fixing your userboxes. Just to let you know. --Harryboyles 07:54, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Ok, no problem. Thanks for letting me know Mahahahaneapneap 14:10, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Album covers

Hi there. I noticed you've reuploaded some album covers from the iTunes Store. While it is nice to have higher resolution versions, it goes against our fair use policy. You see, in order for our use of the images to be legal, we can't interfere with the copyright holder's ability to make a profit off of the works. In this case, we have to make sure it wouldn't be possible for someone to use the image to, say, use the image to sell illegal copies. So when uploading fair use images, it's actually better to have a low resolution version. ShadowHalo 06:29, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

I have not actually uploaded any of these album covers for several months, but I won't upload any more. I will try to replace all of these images with lower resolution versions. Mahahahaneapneap 12:14, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AA419 vandalism

Good work fixing the vandalism of the AA419 page. It's not the first time that it's happened, so you'll need to keep tabs on that page for the forseeable future. You've doubtless figured out that the people who are doing the vandalism are the same scammers who are targetted by AA419. In a way, it's a back-handed compliment. After all, if the AA419 crew weren't having any effect, the vandals wouldn't bother defacing their web-page.

[edit] Official Muse website

I see that way back in the day you added the official (licensed) lyrics to a few Muse songs. (On this a heartfelt handshake for resisting the temptation to go the easy/copyvio way.) I've just cleaned out a bunch of copyvio links from the Muse singles articles, and I was wondering how you determined the correct php page on Muse's website to link -- is there a way to see the url behind it, or did you just use trial and error?

Thanks! - Revolving Bugbear 21:26, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes I had a specific way of doing this. I used the non-flash version of the website which used to be linked from the main page before the website was redesigned. From there, go to Discography --> Lyrics and then the album and song you want. When the lyrics come up, right click in the frame and then go to properties (depending on which browser you're using) to find the URL of the lyrics. Unfortunately, the page has not been updated to include Hullabaloo or Black Holes & Revelations and probably won't ever be seeing as how the last news article was in September 2006. Well done for all your work on the Muse articles :) Mahahahaneapneap (talk) 08:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:PooleTownFC.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:PooleTownFC.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
