I'm a resident of sydney, australia. I have been involved in reading, reviewing, collecting and selling mystery books for more than 30 years and also have a strong and wide-ranging interest in science fiction books -- and films in both these areas and genre films in general. I collect films and television about brands and franchises from "The 4400" to Zorro, and am interested in the categorization of films into a taxonomy based on themes (such as, for instance, movies about female witches, nature gone mad, or airplane disasters). I also hope to contribute information about the early history of mass-market paperbacks based on my collection and reference books.
