How can a university be founded on the basis of a physics theory? Postcard Cathy 20:50, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't know. But from the webpage: "Maharishi Central University’s cutting-edge, state-of-the-art curriculum, developed by world-renowned quantum physicist Dr. John Hagelin, is based upon the most advanced scientific knowledge of our age: the discovery of the Unified Field. It delivers Total Knowledge to every student, and promotes total brain functioning—enlightenment—full development of mind, body and behavior.

The Unified Field, or “superstring field,” is the dynamical origin of all the laws of nature—the field of Total Natural Law. All the laws of physics, chemistry, physiology, etc., can be systematically derived from the Unified Field and its associated equations. The Unified Field thereby constitutes the long-sought, mathematically rigorous, inter-disciplinary foundation for all the sciences, and for the whole field of academic study. "

I guess it's a sort of a metaphor? Llamabr 20:48, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

This organization also has 200 schools in India with about 200,000 students who excel in all state and national competitions. Its students consistently win more awards and score higher grades than other schools, and one branch in England was asked to not participant in competitions in order to give students at other schools the opportunity to win some competitions. It is truly an amazing system of education that awakens and develops the use of the total brain, which is only possible through the experience of transcending and experiencing higher states of consciousness. Visit http://www.mum.edu for information on another school which uses this same approach to develop full development of mind, body, and behaviour through the teachings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.178.127.51 (talk) 21:53, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
