(Arabic: محجة) Mahajah is a rock formation located 230 km west of the city of Ha'il. There are some inscriptions engraved on the rocks.
This photograph shows the powerful effect of wind generated abrasion.The edges of the arches have weathered along joints and preexisting tectonically controlled vertical surfaces in the rock. Then mechanical abrasion took over and carved out the arches.
