Talk:Magnet (magazine)

This is an almost completely subjective and non-NPOV - particularly the paragraph alleging that (for example) the New Pornographers are "light pop" or "alternative country." I'll be subjective over here and note that, as a long-time subscriber, the magazine's been consistent in covering indie-rock generally, although (as noted) its range does extend beyond that. I'd argue the focus has always been indie-rock, primarily (that list of cover artists is a good example of various "hot" bands during the years indicated). I'd suggest that, if you want to *imply* a change in direction, point to something objective (like who's on the cover or featured in major articles) to support that, rather than merely alleging a rather subjective notion of a "shift" in perspective (along with an implicit pejorative in "light pop"). 2fs 02:18, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
