[edit] Last paragraph again

Sorry, I still can't work out what exactly is being said here:

Nicols is expanding the possibilities of vocal expression. She is using her thus developed possibilities with verbal, scenic, and step dancing illustrations of women's everyday life. Nicols also enjoys singing melodic songs.

The first sentence is a bit vague, but I can understand it, and the last is perfectly clear. The second reads like a direct translation from the German, which should help me. Would the following be a good interpretation?

Nicols is working on the expanded possibilites of vocal expression, and using the results, together with [See below] and step dancing to illustrate women's everyday lives. She also enjoys singing good melodies.

The bracketed bit is where my main problems lie: is the "verbal" just a repeated reference to what's in the first sentence, or something else? What is meant by "scenic"? --Mel Etitis (Talk) 19:50, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
