Eric Foner is not Maggie Gyllenhaal's uncle. He is her mother's ex-husband, and is not related to Maggie at all. The article on her brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, explains this correctly. At first I was just going to delete the Foner reference, but I realize it is an interesting connection -- especially since both Maggie and Jake went to Columbia University, where Foner teaches. I'm not sure how to phrase it without distracting from the article's focus on Maggie, but perhaps someone else will have a go at it.

[edit] Making the article better

Well as you can see iv started expanding the article so its at least as good as Jake`s. Theres sure to be friction if Maggie finds out Jake`s article has featured status and her`s doesnt.Stevenscollege 22:23, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

LOL! That's the best "excuse" to improve an article I've ever read. Keep up the good work Mad Jack 03:12, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
