You may find reliable sources (e.g., news reports) that say that Magat Dam was/is the largest dam in Asia. This isn't true since I find references to larger and earlier dams such as the ones on the Indus River in Pakistan. The "largest" dam probably needs to be qualified: is it the largest dam by structure? by volume of water in the reservoir? by surface area of the reservoir? --seav (talk) 01:51, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
