Magistrale for Europe

The Magistrale for Europe is a Trans-European Networks project for the creation of a high-speed railway line between Paris and Budapest. It is to a large extent identical to TEN project No. 17 (Paris - Bratislava), which is already under way.[1] It adds a connection from Vienna to Budapest.
The high-speed railway line runs between:
- France: Paris – Reims – Metz – Nancy – Strasbourg
- Germany: Karlsruhe – Stuttgart – Ulm – Augsburg – München – Mühldorf
- Austria: Salzburg – Linz – St. Pölten – Wien
- Slovakia: Bratislava
- Hungary: Győr – Budapest
