Maeve appeared on Countdown to 606 on 2fm on June 8 2007, where, on the Leaving Cert Memory Lane feature, she spoke of completing her Leaving Certificate in 1998. She claimed she "still can't count her change" after doing Foundation Maths. She did Honours Irish, despite panicking on the day and also liked English. She chose German over French. She wished she had done Spanish but it wasn't available in her school. She did Home Economics and even successfully answered one of the questions that had appeared on the 2007 examination paper that day. She said she had no idea she was going to be a comedian at the time. She told students not to worry.
