[edit] Truel
Hello. I reverted your recent addition to Truel since it was incorrect. One thing in particular that was incorrect about it is your statement that " If he fires at C and hits him, he has a 2/3 chance of dying." This is incorrect: A has a higher than 2/3 chance of dying since if B misses, and then A misses, B gets another shot, and this cycle can repeat indefinitely. This gives A a 6/7 chance of dying (that is, if A fires at, and kills, C and then B starts a duel between A and B). In general, your simplication was overly simple, and, the conclusion does not follow from it. The probabilities make a difference, and must be used in determination of best strategy.
