Satish Babu, a senior journalist with over 25 years of journalism, is one of the first entrants into the Electronic Media. Reporting for Doordarshan news on a part-time basis was his first stint. Did some stories for Nalini Singh for her programme Ankhon Dekhi.Instrumental in introducing News and Current affairs in Gemini TV way back in 1995 through his organisation Lens Communications. Later headed the News wing of Gemini TV. His career took him to Jain TV as the Regional head in 1998. The year 2002 saw him as Chief Editor News and Current Affairs in MAA TV another regional channel from Andhra Pradesh. 2007 relocated him into Gemini Group again as Chief Editor,News.His mark is his voice and the cryptic scripting which immediately draws the attention of the viewers. FOCUS, his present segment in the News, presented in all the channels of Gemini Group, is much acclaimed.
