Talk:Madrid metropolitan area

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The map is wrong. I change it by the correct map which includes all the cities you propose in the table. Congratulations, good article. Torrejonero 15:50 1 sep 2006

The southern appendix, which is Aranjuez, is NOT part of the metropolitan area.

According to its article, Moscow is in Europe (and is the largest city). And Istanbul also claims to be the most populous European city. Hmm. But yes, Istanbul is also European because Turkey is a part of the EU. Also, according to Largest European cities and metropolitan areas, Madrid is #7:
    1. . Moscow (14,744,150)
    2. . Istanbul (13,179,865)
    3. . London (13,063,441)
    4. . Paris (11,818,503)
    5. . Rhine-Ruhr (11,817,132)
    6. . Randstad (6,579,720)
    7. . Madrid (6,270,551)
    8. . Greater Manchester/Liverpool (5,019,446)
