[edit] Are there only 3 forests?

Are there only three distinct isolated forests, or are there more, but only three are mentioned in the article? Deuar 20:44, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

excellent point. ive revised the intro to reflect the fact that there are numerous forests within this biome. the basis of selecting three is that many of the forests are not discussed in the literature, some not even defined, named or catalogued (possibly not even cited) in prior works. this is a very unexplored region! cheers.
