Madellaine is the heroine from The Hunchback of Notre Dame II and Quasimodo's love interest. Madellaine is a pretty but lonely girl repressed by the Circus Master who took her in as a child after he caught her stealing from his pockets. She's shy and insecure, always condemning herself as being stupid or ditsy. Underneath that however, Madellaine houses a childlike sense of humor with a big heart and inner strength when she puts her mind to it. She also has a dream to walk the tight rope, rather than parade around prettily as the Master's assistant.
Madellaine befriends Quasimodo, and finds confidence, strength, and eventually love though his relation with her.
