Madaripur Sadar (Bengali: মাদারীপুর সদর) is an Upazila of Madaripur District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Madaripur Sadar is located at 23.1667° N 90.2083° E . It has 54655 units of house hold and total area 313.81 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Madaripur Sadar has a population of 307822. Males constitute are 51.19% of the population, and females 48.81%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 146202. Madaripur Sadar has an average literacy rate of 38.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
