The Madagascan Flying Fox, Madagascar Flying-fox, or Madagascar Fruit Bat (Pteropus rufus) is a species of bat in the Pteropodidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
