MacRover.com is an online hotel reservation agency specializing in the hotels not in the major attraction city, but near by the city. Started in 2007, MacRover was developed by a Computer Science graduate as a college project. After receiving many comments, he approached some graphic designer friends and developed MacRover.com professionally.
MacRover.com is based out of the United States of America. The site does not use any of the GDS and operates with direct contracts to the hotel. i.e. any reservations are directly sent to the hotel eliminating the big commissions part of the Chains and Agencies.
