Macrocrystalline

In geology, macrocrystalline minerals have crystals large enough to easily be identified by sight. Quartz, as well as the most valuable rare gems like diamonds, is famous for sometimes having a macrocrystalline structure.

This is the opposite of microcrystalline minerals.
