Mação (pron. IPA: [mɐ'sɐ̃ũ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 400.0 km² and a total population of 7,763 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 8 parishes, and is located in the district of Santarém.
The present Mayor is José Manuel Saldanha Rocha, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is Easter Monday.
