The M-63 Plamen is the first Yugoslav made towed MLRS. The M-63 is purpose for fire support for the front units. The M-63 Plamen consists of 32 pipes all 128 caliber. The system is served by 7 men and towed by logistic trucks.
The Army of Serbia and Montenegro developed a self-propelled system M-94 Plamen-S, mounted on TAM-150 6x6 military truck replacing the towed version of the M-63 Plamen. The M-63 was used in the Yugoslav wars by all sides (except KLA).
