Giesing is a Munich S-Bahn railway and U-Bahn interchange station in the Munich borough of Giesing on the U2 and S5, S6 lines. It serves as a transport hub for Munich's south-east. Major development work is currently under way, as Giesing station has been labelled one of Munich's Zukunftsbahnhöfe ("next-gen stations") that shall serve both as transportation hub and shopping centres.
